In addition to the fancy jackets, the re-birth of theTeenbeats as the Fontana Showband also meant investing in two new Shure microphones and a 35 watt Selmer Selectatone guitar amplifier, shown here proudly perched on its case. To anchor his bass drum, Kevin always nailed a small piece of wood to the floor of the stage (shown in this picture). We left our mark every where we played (two little nail holes on the stage floor!!)! "
