| "This one is of "The Seekers," as we were known before becoming "The Stellas". Taken around 1961/1962 in St. Mary's Hall, Newcastle Co Down, where we used to practice.
L/R is John Del Bianco (lead), Alastair Fitzsimons (lead vocals), Jimmy Martin (drums) myself on bass, and Stanley Johnstone (guitar) . I think Stanley is looking at the P.P. Fr McCaughan separating the couples dancing!
Alastaire Fitzsimons... did a lot to bring the band on in the early days. He is a native of Downpatrick,Co Down and now lives in Crossgar."
