"I played guitar with them [Walter Lewis Showband] for a summer in the early sixties, and hung around with them after that.
Here is a photo I took when they were in Dublin recording the RTE showband program that used to be on Sunday nights. I forget the exact date but it would have been the summer of 1966.The photo is taken in the hall that RTE recorded the program in.
